Math anxiety is an emotional, rather than intellectual problem. However, Math anxiety interferes with a person's ability to learn Math and therefore results in an intellectual problem. (Jane Berg)

Here're 4 tips for you to overcome your math anxiety.

The difference between 'Ordinary' and 'Extraordinary' is "Practice".

Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.

1. Practice and Practice Again:

Practice makes you good at Math but remember to be best in Math you need to do it in the right way. Don't panic, just focus on one step at a time, for example, if you have to solve a question and you have to divide it first, then multiply and add, so firstly, just focus on division. Then focus on other steps. This will not make it difficult for you to understand the logic of the question.

“Don't practice until you get it right. Practice until you can't get it wrong.”

Don't believe any myths about Math. You don't have to pay attention to any negative thoughts. Don't let negative thoughts get in the way of your Math skills. Attitudes really matter when it comes to getting something done. Your attitude and self-confidence lead you to your goal or destination. You need to know how to control your thoughts and stay positive. Your positive attitude will lead you to a deeper education and that is what will lead you to success.

3. Linking Math to the Real World:

“Mathematics knows no races or geographic boundaries; for mathematics, the cultural world is one country.”

If Math is a boring subject for you, then you should know the secret hidden in it. Many students believe that Math has no application in real life. But this is not true. In fact, Mathematics is all around us. We use Mathematics uncountably in our daily lives and we don't even realize it. It is a universal language and the world is written in this language. Like the Moon and the Sun, the four seasons come and go on time. When you look deep down in universe, you will find many geometries around you. Such as: beehive is hexagonal in shape. If you cook well or your baking is very good, this is also Math that you know the use of fractions, ratios and proportions very well. So, if you find it boring or worthless to learn, just think on it logically and critically, and try to discover and apply it in real life.

4. Learn Through Games:

“Math is not a spectator sport. It's not a body of knowledge, it's not symbols on a page. It's something you play with, something you do.”

GGath through game also has a positive effect on success. achievement. We learn more by playing. This will make you interested in learning Math and will also boost your morale because game creates a competition-like state inside us and it is human nature that he does not want to lose. Rather, when we lose, we play again and try to win more than before and play carefully. In the same way, learning Math through game also has a positive effect on success.

There's A lot of games on internet which you can play. I personally like and enjoy these games:

Math 24, 2048, Tangram, Math Riddles and Brain out .

So, learn math through games, apply your logics and learning in real life, and have fun with math.

Happy Learning!
